Cutting costs is a phrase you probably hear all the time without thinking about how often you hear it. Google ‘cutting costs’ under News and you’ll find tons of companies large and small talking about doing it every day.
I suppose it’s fiscally responsible, and goodness knows I don’t like to waste hard-earned money (well, maybe a little), but it always feels like it has a bit of a negative tinge to it to me.
Oh, there are alternatives — pruning, nipping, slashing — but ‘cutting’ is the most comfortable, and you can’t help but like the alteration I suppose.
Anyway, if you do have to cut costs, there’s no reason you can’t have a little fun with it.
