Next Level Jumping the Shark

I read a lot of business news, listen to business reports on the radio, and watch my share of business stuff on TV, so I come across the phrase “take it to the next level” constantly. If as many people took things to the next level as say they will, we’d have our flying cars already.

I simply can’t hear “next level” anymore. But rather than just complain about it, I thought I’d suggest a few new phrases we can all use instead:
