Cartooning Past a Real Mind Bender

I read (OK, skim) a lot of business books looking for new ideas and one day I ran across this blurb on the back of one:

“Prepare to forget everything you thought you knew about sales!”

Wow. There’s a lot to unpack there.

First off, if I only thought I knew something about sales, but actually didn’t, is it even worth it to actively forget that information? It doesn’t appear to be useful, but maybe it’s taking up valuable real estate in my head. So, maybe.

But if we are going to go that route, does that require preparation? Do I need to stretch first? Should I make a to-do list?

If we’re going to forget all that apparently meaningless data, let’s just do it and move on. Why beat around the bush?! Out with thee!

See, the nice thing about cartooning is it allows you to explore stuff like that in a way that, if done elsewhere, would make you look a little nutty.

It’s very therapeutic.
