WixHotels Integrates MyAllocator to Massively Market Hotels Online

Last year, Wix unveiled WixHotels, an app that lets hotel owners tell the world when they have rooms available.

Now, Wix is launching a partnership with Cloudbeds to add a new feature to its hotel service.

The two companies announced Tuesday that Cloudbeds would give Wix hotel customers access to myallocator, allowing hotel owners to advertise their spaces on thousands of new online market places.

Adi Zellner, product lead for WixHotels explains in a breaking news release on July 7:

“The last thing any property owner wants is a room to sit empty. Myallocator makes for a powerful integration with WixHotels that seamlessly adds easy-to-use channel management to its existing native booking engine functionality. Through the WixHotels application, property owners can accept and manage room bookings from their own site as well as bookings through major sites like AirBnB, Expedia, Booking.com, Travelocity and many others.”

Wix launched its hotel app in August 2014, saying at the time that it would help small, independent hotel, motel, and bed and breakfast owners to manage their room bookings online. WixHotels is designed to allow hotel owners to post room availability, rates, and then  create a reservations portal for customers.

With myallocator, hoteliers can list their rooms on as many online travel agencies as they wish with the push of a button. It lets independent hoteliers market their properties through new marketplaces they didn’t know existed.

In the same release, Cloudbeds CEO Adam Harris explains:

“WixHotels was a brilliant move by Wix.com. With thousands of hotel customers using their intuitive online marketing platform, Wix was smart to provide a direct booking solution for property owners. We’re thrilled to partner with WixHotels through this integration.”

Launched in 2006, Wix is a cloud-based do-it-yourself Web design platform offering website templates and drag-and-drop design tools plus a Wix App Market with additional features. Wix had 14 million users as of last year, and has offices in the U.S., Israel, Brazil, Ukraine, and Lithuania.

Cloudbeds, based in San Diego, was founded in 2012 and makes hospitality management software for hotels in over 115 countries. Its other products include Myfrontdesk and Mybookings.
