Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday to do cartoons for. I dread it, and I mean DREAD it every year.

There are just a few jokes, really. Pilgrims, turkeys, and, in recent years, shopping. Ugh …

Every year I think “this is the year you run out of ideas” and every year I manage to crank out a new batch anyway.

This one is a particular favorite. I like the story that it suggests and how much is left to the reader’s imagination. I like how the turkey is looking over his shoulder. But mostly I like that I got through another year. 1 Comment ▼

I agree that there is not much room for humor. It will always be about the turkey I guess.
