The applications you use on your computers thrive on feedback from end users, because they point out mistakes developers have made as well as make recommendations that invariably end up in future updates.
The Microsoft Office Insider program has been designed to make that process more efficient by giving its customers access to new updates, in return for feedback that will improve the product. With Office 2016 now readily available, the first Office 365 updates are starting to roll out, and the company is encouraging Office 365 Home, Personal, and University subscribers to join the Office Insider.
To improve the feedback process, Office has partnered with UserVoice, a software-as-a-service provider of product management and customer support tools, for any suggestions or ideas for Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access.
If you want to make your voice heard, you can visit the UserVoice product site for the application you want leave feedback for. You can also use the feedback option on Windows 10 and Android directly without leaving the application.

It is a great way to let Microsoft know what is working as well as what is not working. Most of the improvements come from customer feedback.
