New Wireless Epson Printers are Designed for the Home Office

Wireless printing - Epson Printers for Home Offices

The new line of WorkForce 2700 series printers from Epson are designed to give the home office a piece of equipment that can effortlessly connect with a smartphone, tablet or computer wirelessly and print from anywhere.

This type of connectivity is key to the way many work today, because the office is no longer a static location. As long as you have the right mobile device, your office is with you, and it can be in the same city, another state or even country, and access to the tools you need can still be seamless.

Wireless Printing

The WF-2760 and WF-2750 are all-in-one printers that leverage the company’s Epson Connect platform to deliver this connectivity. By supporting the most popular systems, including Android, Apple, Chromebook, Fire and Windows devices, Epson Connect can let you scan documents and save them to the cloud, from which they can be output by a connected printer at any time.

The connectivity is a great selling point, but the WF series also delivers when it comes to printing the documents you need fast.Wireless printing - Print from any device

Steve Michell, product manager, Printers, Epson America, said, “In addition to the convenience enabled by a range of wireless printing options, the WF-2700 Series delivers the high quality prints for which Epson is known, due to the incorporation of PrecisionCore technology.”

The Epson PrecisionCore is a next generation technology that delivers laser-like output using the company’s propriety advanced thin-film piezoelectric (TFP) elements. Without going into intricate details, PrecisionCore creates the laser-like quality by allowing each nozzle of the printhead to deliver up to 50,000 droplets per second.

The printers have 150-sheet paper capacity, 30-page automatic document feeder (ADF) and auto two-sided printing. And when you run out of ink, Epson says buying new cartridges won’t put a huge dent in your budget because you can replace only the color that runs out.

The print output is pretty fast for this class of printer, which can deliver speeds of 13.7 ISO ppm (black) and 7.3 ISO ppm (color). And since the device prints with DURABrite Ultra instant-dry inks, the prints will be smudge, fade and water resistant.

You can control the printers from your mobile device or computer, as well as the graphical display on the printer. The WF-2760 has a 2.7” color touchscreen, and the WF-2750 comes with a 2.2” mono graphic display to control any print, copy, scan and fax functions.

Pricing and Availability

The Epson WorkForce WF-2760 will cost you $129.99 and the WF-2750 comes in $30 cheaper at $99.99. They will be available in the summer of 2016 through different retail and online vendors, including the Epson Store.

Until businesses go completely paperless, printers will be an essential tool for any company. For small and home office businesses, the Epson WorkForce 2700 series printers offer the connectivity and productivity needed at a price most can afford.
