As long as hard copies are necessary, printers will be an essential part of the office. But in today’s digital ecosystem, they have to do more than just print. So what is the best all in one printer for a small business?

The answer depends on what your needs are. If you just need black and white documents, spending more for the best color laser printer for small business doesn’t make sense. But once you have identified what your needs are and how much you want to spend, you can find the right all in one printer for you.

A good all in one printer can provide a small business an easy way to print out hard copies of documents, scan receipts and other important items to keep digital records, communicate with others via fax, and carry out remote printing with your smartphone.

Even as more businesses cut down on paper usage, all in one printers offer enough functionality to be worth the investment for small businesses. But when it comes to printing, nearly two-thirds of small businesses don’t have any idea how much they spend on printing-related costs.

With that in mind, here is a list of all in one printers to address a range of use cases for small businesses across different price points.

  4. Re the etc:
Faxing costs a heap in comparison with scanning a document to a pdf and emailing it to the recipient. Al;so fax speed and quality leaves a lot to be desired. I would jump at a printer that does auto duplex scanning (to pdf) and printing withouit a fax capability. I have a fax number, but it gets so flooded with spam I will never use it in future. It was such a paper and computer memory waster!
