New Grants for Your Small Business

The one thing small business grants look to do is assist entrepreneurs on their path to success. And the public and private as well as individuals and organizations that provide these grants do this by helping a cause near and dear to them. Whether it is first-time business owners, women, people of color, or Veterans they want their funds to help these particular individuals.

In this week’s roundup, several grants fit that bill, starting with the Caress Business Grant. This grant is providing up to $5,000 to women of color along with a one time one-on-one intensive coaching scholarships. The grants in New York are providing everything from COVID-19 recovery to issues addressing tourism, child and daycare facilities, conferences, restaurants, and more.     What if am not a woman and I have my small business opperating which needs backup as far as finance is concerned don’t I qualify for the grant really ?

    It’s amazing to me when I see articles about how much assistance has been provided to Small Business, yet my EIDL Grant/ Loan is yet to be processed. Why ? After several 4506T submissions – I find out only after giving Tax Preparer Power of Attorney to investigate…my 2019 Taxes have not been processed…and have been “lost in the system”. Yes, Lost In The System (?) And I have to submit an explanation so (I) won’t be penalized for submitting a late Tax Return.??? I would ask for Help…but to who, where, how? Let alone why? My Minority -Veteran Owned Business in Logistics/Transportation. We have Re Re Submitted 2019 Taxes and waiting!!
