After holding advertising and market research positions in various organizations, Joy Levin founded Allium Research and Analytics, a market research consultancy, in 1998, as a sole proprietorship. Since that time, she has managed all phases of research studies and analytics activities for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from startups to companies in the Fortune 500. Her work empowers marketers and businesses in both B2B and B2C companies with the confidence they need to leverage strategic decisions that maximize ROI. After researching the obstacles to growth that small businesses frequently encounter, Joy launched Growth SurgeR, which includes a FREE course “Five Free and Powerful Ways To Mindread Your Target Market.” The services provided through GrowthSurgeR are specifically designed for small businesses and entrepreneurs to leverage industry and customer insights, at an affordable pricing structure, to accelerate business growth. Joy holds a Bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Boston University. She is the VP of Data and Insights for the Washington DC Chapter of the American Marketing Association, Market Research/Data Analysis Ambassador for Pragmatic Institute’s PAC community, the Event Lead for the DC/Baltimore chapter of Women in Research (WIRe) and has mentored many industry professionals.
