After graduating from college, Lisa wanted to write and accepted a position writing commercials which involved combining copy, sound effects and music to craft radio advertisements.

Lisa has also held a position as a newspaper correspondent and as a freelance writer for various magazines, including Buckmaster’s, Gun Dog and The Ruffed Grouse Society magazine where she writes her own column called Purely Dogs. Lisa has also written for Cabela’s and The Sportsman’s Guide.
