Unleashing Bold Initiatives

This summer, while reviewing my inventory of cartoons, I noticed that I was seriously lacking in cat cartoons. And as cat cartoons are some of my most popular images, I set about creating a list of things about and related to cats. Just below “hairball” and above “finicky” was “considered sacred in ancient Egypt.”

So I looked at my cat sitting regally on the love seat and thought to myself, “I bet she knows that.” (You just know cats are thinking “I used to be royalty, you know, and I’m just waiting for that to come around again. Now be a good boy and fetch me some Fancy Feast.”)

And so the cartoon above was born thusly: Egypt cat thing + business interview = feline resume padding.

I didn’t say cartooning made sense.
