Demystifying Those Spreadsheets

Meeting of the Minds

Being a cartoonist means keeping an eye out for trends, fads, etc.  Lately you’re seeing lots of Twitter cartoons. For a while it was a lot of economy cartoons. Tomorrow, who knows?

I’m notoriously bad about catching these early. It wasn’t so long ago that I said to myself, “Hey, there might be some material in Facebook.” Sigh. . .

One trend I did see quickly was Sudoku, thanks, as is so often the case, to my wife. She loves puzzles and adores Sudoku. I tried a few (OK, one) and decided it wasn’t my cup of digits, but it did remind me a lot of an Excel project I was working on. And thus, the cartoon above was born.
